THE GUILDS
There are many Guilds in the Empire. Some are wealthier and more powerful than others. Each Guild has its Main Guild Hall on Thyra in the capitol city of Lycenae. Other Guild Halls and Craft Houses are built wherever there are enough of its members to need the support of one.
Here are the Guilds that are presently founded and in operation. Listed after the Guild Name are the different Crafts they oversee. New Guilds and Crafts may be founded from time to time, as needed.
- The Artisans Guild oversees Painters, Jewelers, Carvers, Sculptors, Potters, Goldsmiths, Silversmiths and any other Craft whose products are decorative and useful at the same time.
- The Farmers Guild oversees the Field Growers, the Flower Growers, the Fruit Growers and the Livestock Growers.
- The Fishers Guild oversees the Shipbuilders, the Net-Makers, the Fishmongers and any Craft to do with Fishing or waterways.
- The Masons Guild oversees the Stoneworkers, the Carpenters, and any other Craft that might build something.
- The Miners Guild oversees the Miners, the Blacksmiths, the Metal Workers and any other Craft that mines or works with non-precious metals.
- The Weavers Guild oversees the Weavers, the Tailors, the Dyers, the LeatherWorkers, the ShoeMakers and any Craft to do with Clothing.
- The Bakers Guild oversees the training of Cooks and Chefs of all the different kinds, the Butchers, the FlourMakers, the SugarMakers and any Craft that has to do with the making of food or foodstuffs.
- The Forestry Guild oversees the Foresters, the Hunters, the Trappers, the PaperMakers and any Craft that has to do with the forests or woodlands.
- The Scribes Guild oversees all Schools and Universities, the training of Teachers, publishing of books, training of historians, diplomats, arbiters and libararians.
- The Entertainers Guild oversees the Actors, the Singers, the Dancers, the Acrobats, the Gamblers, the Whores and any Craft that has to do with entertainment.
- The Slavers Guild oversees all Slave Markets, Slave Breeders and Slave Traders.
