CHARACTERS - POSTING - VIOLATIONS - STORYLINES NEEDING APPROVAL OR NOTIFICATION
SECTION 1.0 - CHARACTERS
1.1 - Yamari is home to only human-types. There are no Elves, Dwarves, Faeries, Dragons, Were-creatures, Mer-creatures, Vampires or any other mythical beasties.
1.2 - Please write your characters as realistically as possible. No one is perfect but neither is anyone all bad. Your characters should reflect this.
1.3 - Rank for Characters in this Club is awarded by merit. Merit consists of good writing skills and dependability.
1.4 - Playing Characters (PCs) are the characters for which you will be writing most often. Each member must have at least one active PC at all times. After a member has posted five posts to the list, the member may apply for another PC.
1.5 - Non-Playing Characters (NPCs) - Non-Playing Characters are support personnel. There is no limit to how many you can create as long as they are not Royals or Nobility. These require the Senechal's permission. NPCs that have character sheets on the website are considered NPC-free and may be used by anyone in the Club.
1.6 - Owned Non-Playing Characters (ONPCs) - If you wish to have a character that is exclusively yours to use but do not want to make it a PC or NPC, you may choose to create an ONPC. After an NPC has appeared in 12 posts, you may ask to make that character an ONPC. ONPCs may have a character sheet in the Character's sections, if you like.
1.7 - No member may hold more than two Royal characters, two Noble characters, three Merchant characters and 3 Working Class characters. You may have as many servants, slaves or free laborers as you feel you can comfortably write.
2.0 - POSTING
A "post" is a story you will be sending to the group using the Yahoo Group Board that has been set up for that purpose. Posts must be written by you and may not be published or in any other way used except in this Club.
2.1 - Royal and Noble Characters - This includes any and all members of the Royal Family and all members of any Noble Houses.
2.2 - Posts with **_** bracketing the title mean that the post contains adult content. You may then skip these, if you choose.
3.0 - VIOLATIONS
Please do not do any of these things. We want to keep all of our members!
3.1 - Using Someone Else's Character Without Permission - Offending Members will receive two reprimands from the Senechal. On the third offense, the Member will be dropped from the Club.
3.2 - Chain Letters/Spam/Hateful, Flaming Mails - Never, never, never send these to the list. This will get you one warning and then dropped.
4.0 - STORYLINES NEEDING APPROVAL OR NOTIFICATION
4.1 - Deaths of PCs or ONPCs - If a death will affect more than just your characters, it will need the approval of the Senechal.
4.2 - Founding a new City, Guild or Business - For obvious reasons, plus it would need to be added to the webpages.
4.3 - Advancement in Rank of PCs or ONPCs - Whether rank advancement within the Guilds, the military or the nobility, PC and ONPC rank advancement requires the approval of the Senechal.
4.4 - Advancement in Rank of NPCs - For NPC rank advancement, the Senechal just needs a notification of intent.
4.5 - Relocation of PCs or ONPCs - The Senechal just needs notification of intent for PCs or ONPCs moving to a different location.
