Each planet in the Empire has its own local money that is only used on that planet. The Yamari government, however, does mint standardized coinage that can be used throughout the Empire and on foreign worlds. Following is the Yamari coinage system and its basic valuation in U.S. dollars:

Yamari uses three precious metal mixes for its coinage: copper, silver and gold. For each metal, there are three coins in each set. The lowest value coin in each set is stamped with a Tree. The middle value coin is stamped with a five-point Star. The highest value coin is stamped with an image of the ruling Queen.

Copper:

A Copper Tree is the lowest coin valuation. It is worth one cent U.S.
A Copper Star is worth twenty-five cents U.S.
A Copper Queen is worth one dollar U.S.

Silver:

A Silver Tree is worth five dollars U.S.
A Silver Star is worth ten dollars U.S.
A Silver Queen is worth twenty dollars U.S.

Gold:

A Gold Tree is worth fifty dollars U.S.
A Gold Star is worth one hundred dollars U.S.
A Gold Queen is worth one thousand dollars U.S.
