The War Leader is in command of all military forces. She reports directly to the Queen.
There are two main branches of the military: Planetary and Space. The Planetary forces are split into: Infantry, Cavalry and Chariotry. The Space forces do not have such specific differentiations since pilots, navigators, astrogators, etc. work so closely together.
All military personnel are given the same basic training which includes: strength training, endurance, martial arts, hand-to-hand combat, markmanship in bow and lance, and swordfighting. Once basic training is completed, a warrior's superior makes the decision about whether they should advance to higher rank and training or not.
