Character Name: Kirrist
Character Status: Playing Character - Active
Character Age: 20
Gender: Female
Title/Position/Occupation: Churka Clan Member - Clan Anazi
Residence: Great Wastes of Sinovia
Physical Description: Kirrist, the offspring of a Churka mother and a Yamari father, is a blending of the two. She is perhaps a bit taller than most Churka women and lean muscle is attached to her frame, the result of a challenging physical life on the arid plains of Sinovia. Her color is golden, with her hair about the same shade as her skin although her skin has a tendency to darken in the hot Sinovial sun while her hair tends to lighten if it is left long without trimming. Her eyes are a medium brown.
Personality: Like all Churka, Kirrist can be quarrelsome and is sometimes overly quick to reply to an insult or threat, but most usually she is content when the clan is prospering. She is ambitious and hopes to someday reach the position of clan leader. In the meantime, she does her part in helping the tribe. She is skilled with both the bow and the sling in addition to highly refined skill with the knife. Her self-assumed main task has been that of a hunter, bringing in game that serves to save the clan's own herds from the cooking pot.
Life Story: Kirrist was born into the Anazi clan to a Churka mother who returned from a period of training horses for the Yamari in Keleos, bringing with her a Yamari husband. The pair were a contrast, she dark and he light, but he adapted quickly into tribal life becoming, as was said, "more Churka than the Churka." Their two offspring were a blending of the two of them, Kirrist being the oldest, with a younger brother arriving a few years afterwards. When she was six years old, her father was killed defending the camp from a raid by a rival clan, the Chelsik, something Kirrist has never forgiven. Her mother has since taken another husband, a Churka this time, and Kirrist has a much younger half-brother. Kirrist's early ambitions were to become a Rider, a clan member chosen for his or her riding skills to ride the clan's runners in the many races held at Gatherings of the clans. To her dismay, she began to realize that she was going to be too tall. Race riders succeeded most often when they were small and wiry. Accepting Keruja's will, she adjusted her intent and began learning from elders all the skills of hunting in the arid plains of Sinovia.
