Physical Description: Goren is 5'11", bone-thin and awkward-looking. He has silver hair, bright blue eyes and a large nose that gets him a lot of curious stares from children.
Personality: Goren is an artist. He is dedicated to his Craft and has a love of beautiful things. Inanimate things, that is. Goren does not care much for the company of other people. Goren has a crusty demeanor and has little patience with imperfection.
Life Story: Goren was born in a small hamlet on Thyra's Northwest Continent. His family life was miserable and abusive and to this day he will not talk about it. Goren ran away from home at 13 and begged an apprenticeship in the Artisan's Guild. There he found his life-long love - creating perfect jewels and jewelry. Goren has never married (although the Whoremongers Craft gets its share of his coin) and has few friends. The friends he does have are very protective of him, however. They know that he is very vulnerable inside but that not many people know or care. Goren feels that anything that is less than perfect will only let him down. And the only things that can be perfect are his creations. His apprentices live in fear of his critiques but his journeywomen and men, few as they are, are very proud to serve him and be taught by him. Goren's works are always the best of the best.
